BRAZILIAN, RIBBON WORK & WHITEWORK

This is a beautiful way of stitching flowers. I have used Bullion knots for mine.  I used a transfer from a book by Rosie Montague ‘Brazilian Three-Dimensional Embroidery’

I have included Ribbon work on this page, as it is the only piece I have made.  Most Ribbon work is of flowers.  Narrow ribbon can be bought, and is actually stitched through the fabric with a needle with a large hole.
